About
Paul Paukstelis is a scientist, educator, and innovator. The hook was set quite deep when he first took up woodturning in 2020. His exploration in woodturning has continued a long-time passion for problem solving through technology integration. As a relatively early adopter of consumer 3D printing technology, he uses printed parts extensively around and on the lathe. His interest in computer-controlled motion systems has led to the development of the LatheEngraver, a first-of-its-kind device for creating unique embellishments directly from the lathe. A strong supporter of OpenSource software and hardware, all the products you find on these pages are available to the public to create themselves.
