Sweetgum Bowl #7

A large storm dropped many trees in and around the University of Maryland in July 2021. A particularly large sweetgum came down on the Paint Branch Trail. This 11.5"x4" (29 cm x 10 cm) bowl is the seventh bowl turned from that tree. It is lightly spalted and has distinctive "trail" patterns from several former insect residents.
