The Son of Grasshopper

This maple bowl is extremely unique. It contains large patches of the distinctive coloring of ambrosia maple, but this was not caused by the ambrosia beetle that is usually associated with the feature. With a food-safe finish and its large size (13.25" x 4.5") is bowl perfect for adding some flair to your meal.

The other half of the log that this bowl came from had similar coloration, but looked almost exactly like the head of a grasshopper; hence, the Son of Grasshopper.
